Discover our fast, compliant, permanent building solutions at Healthcare Estates

A newly finished, empty and well lit ward room. The rearmost wall is blue while the others are white, there is a large window to the right and the floor is a grey mottled vinyl.

Visit us at the IHEEM Healthcare Estates conference from Tuesday 10 to Wednesday 11 October, to find out more about how Darwin Group can provide a rapid and complete construction solution for your healthcare estate needs.

Darwin Group experts – including architects, production, and commissioning experts – will be on hand at the Manchester event to talk people through how our fast, compliant, permanent building solutions are leading the way in healthcare design.

Visitors will also learn more about the Resilience Ward – Darwin Group’s new ‘fast deploy’ solution for NHS trusts struggling with the unprecedented combination of RAAC problems, winter pressures and backlog maintenance.

The Resilience Ward is scalable and designed to create permanent, compliant, high-quality, repeatable ward accommodation. Drawing on aspects of the P22 Repeatable Room standards and Hospital 2.0, our architectural design experts have explored multiple arrangements and varying scales to create the optimal ward layout for patient care and nursing staff.

Due to its design, the ward can be scaled easily to provide anything from 16 beds upwards to suit demand. And, with a minimum 60-year plus lifespan, it offers decades of flexible capacity for a future-proof healthcare estate.
