The challenge
InHealth, the UK’s largest provider of diagnostic and healthcare solutions, brings care closer to communities with their mobile CT scanners. As of 2025, they had performed over 400,000 CT scan across England. Their Lung cancer screening in particular has enabled them to diagnosis cancers sooner, improving survival rates for patients.
To support their operations, they required dedicated spaces for patients to wait for their scan and undertake any required pre-scan assessments. All while ensuring both staff and patients are kept in comfort.
Our solution
Darwin Group® support these mobile CT scanners with a fleet of relocatable, On-Demand® Healthcare Facilities. These are located on-site and the mobile CT scanners travel between them.
Each building contains dedicated consultation spaces for pre-scan assessments as well as a comfortable patient waiting area and WC.
By utilising On-Demand® facilities, the buildings can also move locations alongside the mobile scanners as needed. This ensures that InHealth can continue to provide scans out in the community,
